Meet The Gals In Charge

This race is a labor of love. Our volunteer team begins planning the fall race at the beginning of each year, meeting once a month. We want this race to be a safe space for women who love bikes and riding with the gals, to come have fun.

  • Dana Wacker

    WRANGLER OF VOLUNTEERS & REGISTRATION

    She will be making sure you all get registered, waitlist is managed, and volunteers have a good time on the course.

    Dana is a do it all kinda gal. She is also running more community events for the Revelstoke Cycling Association such as the Iron Horse XC (a shameless plug).

  • Kyra Sklar

    MARKETING & WEBSITE GURU

    Kyra is the aesthetics & 'go to market' gal on the team, managing our social channels & assisting with Sponsorship. Kyra works as marketing & content coordinator for Tourism Revelstoke. She also gets involved with community organizations such as Arts Revelstoke and Shred Sisters.

    She is a teacher by day but a hype girl by night. G is in charge of curating an iconic after party. Fear not, she has big plans for 2025 ;)

    RACE CORSE LOGISTICS WIZ

    Bren is a mad woman, focusing on bringing the most fun course the sladies have ever seen this year. Look out 2025, you’re in for a TREAT.

    Bren wanted to become a climber when she immigrated to Canada, but then she bought a bike, and here we are. A few broken ribs, a couple twisted ankles, a scull fracture, and a broken neck later, we haven’t decided yet whether she’s a great biker with a lot of guts or if she’s actually just not that good.

Our History

This idea began with Robyn Goldsmith, Jenn Avery, and Dana Ferguson. They wanted to see more events out there supporting women in biking. We all know how intimidating mountain biking can be, even more so trying to get into the racing environment. Thus began the Revelstoke Women’s Enduro, a collective of volunteer bad ass gals motivated to create a hilariously fun day for the shredder babes.
